Friendship

Not many events in life surpass spending time with people you love. I’ve discovered life-long friendships are rare, especially between couples, so when that special magic occurs I cherish it.  I just spent a beautiful weekend with dear friends and while we knew the threads of our relationship ranged from our beliefs, to music, to good books, and family; it was pure joy to weave those threads into something stronger and more beautiful as we added dreams and goals for the future.

“A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow.”― William Shakespeare

“The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly
smile, nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration
that comes to one when you discover that someone else believes in you
and is willing to trust you with a friendship.”―Ralph Waldo Emerson

No matter life’s journeys, we are bound to each other.  Our future is the same.  We are heaven bound.  Thank you Lord Jesus for friendships that will survive this world  and belong to us in our heavenly home with you, our dearest friend.

Jesus on Friendship

John 15:12-15 “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.
